Aerie Bralettes & How To Style Them

Pretty lace bralettes have really become a staple for me this spring and summer, so I thought I’d share some of my favorite ways to style them! Mine are all from Aerie, and I’m so impressed by the quality and comfort. I definitely don’t see myself wearing a regular bra anytime soon haha! I find they fit TTS, I wear size Small in all the styles and I’m a 32D for reference.

Anyways, these are so comfy and supportive and I can wear them all day! I have a few different styles, but this one is definitely my favorite. You can convert it into a racerback, and it has a hook and eye closure so it’s easier get on (IMO). I find the thicker straps look so pretty peeking out of a tee!

I also love opting for a bralette with a spaghetti strap top. Most of the time I don’t want to wear a strapless bra – even the comfiest ones are only so comfy, and comfort is always top priority for me. A bralette is the perfect solution that looks intentional and not just that you didn’t care and left your bra straps showing (even though that’s basically what you did). Bralettes are a great way to add another color to an outfit, or pull colors from your bottoms/accessories for a put together look. I also find pairing a bralette that’s the same color as my tank (like the black tank outfit in the flatlay above) is just so chic.

Pairing my bralette with an oversized tee is probably the way I style them the most often – it’s just so cute and adds another layer of interest to an otherwise basic outfit.

This top is what inspired my current bralette craze – there was just no other way to wear it. I love how you can use bralettes to switch up the style of an open back top or dress, and I find it just looks so summery! They are also a great solution to tanks or dresses that have very open arm holes.

I also love a good bralette and sweater combo, which is the perfect casual cozy look for those cooler summer nights. This outfit will also transition into fall and winter too! Have you hopped on the bralette train yet? What’s your favorite way to style them?
