Comfy Clothes That Pass The Netflix Test

In this season of life we find ourselves in, comfort is definitely key. So, I thought I’d round up some clothing items (that aren’t loungewear!) that pass the Netflix test for me. Basically that means these are items that I’ll willingly wear while sitting on the couch for a couple of hours – legit comfy things.

If you’re like me, wearing loungewear day in and day out can make you feel kinda blah. These items are cute enough to make you feel put together, but also super comfy.

1. Spanx Faux-Leather Leggings

These magical leggings are probably one of my favorite pieces of clothing in existence (yes, they warrant the drama). They are just SO GOOD. Not only are they beautiful, flattering, and versatile, I’ve watched several movies in them and sat in them all day working at my computer. They fit TTS (I’m wearing the Small), but you could size up if you don’t want them to have so much of a “hold you in” effect. I actually have a whole blog post reviewing them and showing styling options!

2. Flowy Mini Skirts

I’m so glad these are a trend right now, because they’re basically a more polished version of pajama shorts. I love pairing skirts with a knotted tee when it’s warmer, and a sweater when it cools down. Easy, comfy, and cute!

3. Aerie Bralettes

Bras and comfy don’t often go together, but these bralettes are a different story. All of the Aerie bralettes I have fit TTS (I always get a small) and I love that they’re actually quite supportive!

4. Casual Dresses

Back when I used to wear dresses outside and saw people IRL, I always got comments that I looked so put together. Really though, I was basically wearing an elevated nightgown. I love T-shirt dresses, babydoll styles, or dresses with a comfy elastic waist for looking cute while wearing something I could probably sleep in.

Honorable Mention: Old Navy Jeggings

So, these are not quite what I’d wear to watch Netflix. They’re definitely comfy, but not quite to the level of the other items in this post. Nonetheless, if you are going to wear jeans while sitting, let it be these. I always reach for them for long car rides and going to the movies (back when we still did that!) They fit TTS, I’m wearing the 4 regular. These are a pull-on style with an elastic waistband, so I don’t do a front tuck with them, but if your top is long enough you really can’t tell!
