November Faves

November was… a lot. With the election happening, Christmas shopping and decorating, and prepping for my first holiday season as a blogger, I was basically on turbo mode all month.

In December, I’d like to slow down, rest, and enjoy the beauty and coziness of the season. I don’t have a ton of faves from November to share, as I was too busy to try many new things. So here are 5 things that were highlights of last month, in no particular order:

1. Old Navy Puffer Vests

2020 is the year I became a vest person. I borrowed my Mom’s vest last winter and then kept it most of the year because Covid things. This winter I have my own vests, and if my feed is any indication, I. Am. Hooked. These vests are surprisingly warm, and perfect for that in-between weather we’re having right now. They fit TTS (wearing a small), and are currently under $20 on sale in the US!

2. Causebox

I was so excited when Causebox reached out to me for a collaboration – I love the brand and I knew it was something that would resonate with you all too!

Causebox is a seasonal subscription box featuring ethical, sustainable, and mission-driven brands. I love that they focuses on kindness – to each other, ourselves, and our planet. Each box includes $250+ worth of beautiful and useful products that you can feel good about for only $50! Use code NAYLASMITH10 at www.causebox.com and get your first box for only $40! I love discovering new products, and we’ve been using the goodies from the Causebox all the time!

3. A Legitimately Comfy Underwire Bra

And it actually fits! When I turned 30, I low-key began a mission to find a real bra that worked for me. Years ago, I had given up and only worn bralettes, but for some outfits I just felt like a traditional bra was needed, especially since I do have a larger bust. After trying a few misses, I saw this one on sale on Amazon, and went “hey why not try it”. Well, now I have 3 of them. This bra is so soft and I haven’t experienced any underwire poking. Plus, it’s invisible under a t-shirt. I fully expected to switch into a bralette for just lounging at home… but this bra is so comfy that I forgot to take it off. So, I need a lifetime supply. Fits TTS. I also love that it comes in a range of nude shades!

4. Living Proof Restore Perfecting Spray

I ran out of heat protectant, so I decided to give this spray a try. It’s a leave in conditioner that detangles and protects against heat & UV. I’ve used it every time I’ve washed my hair for a few weeks, and I love it! It detangles my hair beautifully and I’ve noticed much less breakage when I brush and blow dry. It doesn’t weigh my fine hair down, and leaves it feeling so soft!

5. Tortellini Vegetable Soup

This soup is exactly what a chilly fall or winter evening needs, and we’ve already made it 3 times! It’s creamy and cheesy but still healthy enough because there are veggies involved. Plus, it uses store bought tortellini, which I always have in my freezer and love finding new ways to use. There are instructions to make this on the stove-top, slow cooker, and Instant Pot (which I always use).

A little hack: get a big bag of carrots, slice them, and freeze them so they’re ready to throw into soups.
