After I got my first tube of this lipstick, I immediately ordered another color. The formula is creamy and hydrating, and I just love the colors for everyday wear. Below I’m wearing the shade Rum Punch, which is perfect year round. I also love Beach Babe, which is a light nude. As a pale girl, it’s been hard to find lip colors that are actually light on me without washing me out, and Beach Babe is definitely it!
2. AE Boyfriend Shorts
I. Love. These. Shorts. They are the perfect length – great booty coverage but not too long! And I find the distressing gives them a casual edge. They come in a bunch of different washes (I have the black wash as well), but I particularly love this faded light wash for summer! I actually went up 2 sizes to an 8 in these; they don’t have any stretch, and I do like my shorts on the baggy side.
3. XO Hanalei Earrings & Ring
XO Hanalei is one of my favourite small businesses. All of their jewelry is handcrafted and I just love the dainty minimal style. These pieces are 14k gold filled, which makes them water resistant, hypoallergenic, and tarnish proof! I wear my ring and earrings pretty much everyday now and I love that they go with everything.
Oftentimes I find myself on the hunt for a specific item that seems really basic, but that’s actually pretty difficult to find. I had been wanting a pair of high-waisted light but not super light jeans, with a medium amount of distressing. Well these are them! They’re so comfy and legit high-waisted (any fellow long torso girls know how rare that is for us!) I got my normal size 27R, and they fit like a glove.
5. Tarte Tinted Hydrator
Adding this to the list was a no-brainer for sure! I had been searching for something to wear in the summer instead of my normal full coverage foundation, and I’m so happy I discovered this tinted moisturizer! It hydrates without being greasy, and the shade is great for my skintone. I use shade 13N, and it pairs perfectly with my Shape Tape concealer in 12N.
