It’s sandal season! (AKA my favorite time of year)!! We love going for walks in the summer and taking in the gorgeous weather and the greenspace we’re fortunate enough to live near, so I really value a sandal that’s both comfy and cute. I thought I’d round up my go-to sandals in case you guys are in the market for a new pair this season!
Steve Madden CICI Wedges
I got these last summer and basically wore them non-stop. I love the espadrille wedges with the pretty gold stud details, and best of all these are so comfortable. Like walk-all-day comfy and I’m blister prone and picky about shoes. I really can’t recommend these enough! They do run quite small though – I ended up sizing a full size up to a 10 (they didn’t have a 9.5 for me to try).
Steve Madden KIMMIE Espadrilles
I’m OBSESSED with these. I love a flatform (and these are truly flat) and the espadrille style is so perfect for summer! The straps are actually entirely elastic which keeps them secured to the foot and are so comfortable. They have a Birkenstock-like sole, and I find I can walk a long time in them without issues. To me they run TTS, I have the 9.
Birkenstock YAO Slides
I love these because they’re a less-bulky take on the Birk but still have the super comfortable footbed. I have wider feet with high arches and these are very supportive. I have a size 40 and I normally wear a 9-9.5. I also love how they’re more feminine and dressy with the rose gold buckles and white sole!
Old Navy Double Strap Slides
Every year Old Navy comes out with these, and every year I pick up a new color or two! I now have 5 pairs, but the price is so good and these actually hold up really well. I love the minimal style; they work with any outfit and are the perfect throw on and go sandal. I find they run TTS, I wear a 9.
