I have to admit – it took me awhile to jump on the biker shorts trend. But then I tried a pair and all bets were off. They are so comfy, and surprisingly versatile! I thought I’d share my favorite biker shorts from Aerie, as well as a few outfits I’ve styled with them! Both of these are from the same line, and are made of an athletic wear material that dries fast and has great stretch.
Clearly, my favorite way to wear these is with an oversized tee – it’s just such a comfy, effortless outfit to throw on and go. I also love them with a sweatshirt, flannel, or thermal top for transitioning to fall.
This is the pair that got me hooked on the trend. They are so comfortable but also have great compression – I’m wearing my normal size small, but size up if compression isn’t what you’re looking for. These biker shorts don’t have a front seam, so no need to worry about the dreaded camel toe either! They’re a great basic and are a wardrobe staple IMO!
These biker shorts have pockets! I love them so much I got them in both the white and brown. They are perfect for running errands or wearing around the house, and my phone fits in the pocket for easy podcast listening. I got my normal size small and I find them quite comfy. Again, you might want to size up if you don’t want compression. The white pair is a tad see through, so nude underwear is a must. I cannot wait to pair these with big cozy sweatshirts and shackets when the weather cools down a bit!
