August Faves

This monthly faves post is a little late, but here it is! August was full of wedding planning and dying of heat for me. I am SO glad it’s September (my favorite month!) and have been busy decorating for fall.

Here are 5 things I’ve been loving in August!

1. Ardene

In August I placed my first ever Ardene order this month, and I’m so happy with these 2 sweaters I got! I just love finding new affordable retailers to wear and share with you. I will say though that in general their clothes run a little small, so I’d size up as a rule!

2. Amazon Earrings

I’ve been wanting a curated gold ear stack for awhile now, but I have sensitive ears and 14k gold earrings aren’t in the budget. This brand on Amazon has great reviews, so I thought I’d give their earrings a try. They are gold filled with the prettiest details, and haven’t bothered me at all after weeks of wear! I grabbed two pairs of hoops and this ear cuff that gives the look of a cartilage piercing without the hassle.

3. Designing Our Wedding Aesthetic

Our wedding is (very) small and on a budget, but I’m still glad I decided to do the decor and make it ours. We’re going with a neutral boho look for our early fall wedding and I’m so excited to see it all come together! Of course after the wedding I’ll share everything with you guys – but if you’re also looking for wedding ideas, I have a whole wedding Pinterest board:

4. This Perfectly Sized Neutral Tote

I’m not normally a tote bag girl. Most of them are too big for me, and if there’s room in a bag I’ll be tempted to throw half my life in it and end up with back pain. But this one is the perfect medium size for days when I need more than my wallet, mask, and sunnies. The vegan leather is so soft and the chain handle is gorgeous.

5. Pairing a Summer Dress with a Hat & Boots

This is one of my favorite outfit formulas to take a summer dress into fall (especially when it’s still warm out)! Both of these dresses were gifted by Chicwish, and I love the boho vibes. The white dress runs small though – size up especially if you have a larger chest!
