October Faves

To be honest I’m kind of sad to see October go. While I’m excited for all the Christmas things, it means fall is ending soon and fall will always be my favorite!

Here are my 5 fave things from October!

1. Our New Kitten, Chai

We didn’t exactly plan to get another cat right now, but that changed when we walked into a PetValu where a local cat rescue was having an adoption event. Chai caught my eye, and with how many homeless cats and kittens there are, we decided to take her in. She’s been an absolute delight and we are obsessed with her!

If you’re in the Cornwall Ontario area and are looking to adopt a cat, I highly recommend checking out Pawportunity Rescue – they do amazing work!

2. Ardene Flannel Shirts

So these plaid flannel shirts are only $22! They are the perfect soft, flowy flannel, and I had to get 2 colors. I sized up 1 to a medium for a comfy oversized fit.

3. Comfort Works Sofa Cover

We have a discontinued IKEA Karlstad couch, and it hasn’t been looking its best. We had a dark cover for it, and since the couch is across from a window, it had noticeably faded. We ordered this made to fit cover from Comfort Works, and have been loving it! We went with a stain and scratch resistant performance weave fabric in the color Natural – I love how much it brightens up the room!

4. Black Steve Madden Chelsea Boots

I’ve worn these boots too many times to count this month! I love the edgy vibe they give, and the heel height is perfect for walking in. They are comfy, but go up half a size if you have wider feet.

5. Foxybae Blowout Brush

I don’t really have the coordination to give my hair a blowout with a dryer in one hand and a round brush in the other. I got this after a frustrating morning drying my hair for 20 mins and ending up looking like a puff ball, and wow what a difference! This hair dryer & brush combo is so easy to use, quick, and gives my flat hair a ton of volume! I also love that it has a cool setting and gentle bristles. I have a tutorial here!
