Favorite Nude Lip Colors

I love a good nude lip, whether I’m wearing a full face of makeup or just my quick makeup look. Especially as the warm weather is finally here (for the most part at least), I find myself opting for lighter, more neutral shades. I’ve actually had a bit of a hard time finding colors that are flattering on me; since I’m pale with a warm undertone to my skin, I like to avoid cooler tones. So, I’ve tried a lot of nude lipsticks, and these are the 5 that I reach for again and again.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in “Pure Hollywood”

Probably my most worn lip color (I actually repurchased it) and honestly the best liquid lipstick formula I’ve ever tried. Very long-lasting, transfer proof, and I don’t find it at all drying. I also have the color “Stripped” which is a bit darker and warmer.

Tarte Color Splash Lipstick in “Rum Punch”

This one is a new favorite, and actually my first traditional cream lipstick! Since I got it, I’ve been wearing it constantly. I find the color so flattering, and the formula is nice and hydrating. I don’t wear a lip liner with it, and haven’t had any problems with the color bleeding.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in “Cape Town”

I’ve been wearing this one for years and often get compliments on it! Cape Town is a warm light sandy color which is hard to find and perfect for fair skin with warm undertones. It’s also very affordable and doesn’t dry your lips out at all. The formula goes on creamy but then dries down to a transfer proof matte finish. I also wear this lipstick in “Abu Dhabi” all the time.

NYX Lip Lingerie in “Satin Ribbon”

I actually got this color awhile ago, loved it, forgot about it, and then rediscovered it! It’s hard to find a light but not too light lipstick and I find this pale peachy nude is the perfect everyday color for spring and summer! I will say though that this liquid lip doesn’t last as long as the Anastasia one, so I do have to reapply. But, it has a nice matte finish and I don’t find it drying or cakey at all.

NYX Butter Gloss in “Madeleine”

Pretty much the only lip gloss I ever wear. It’s such a flattering color and looks great even as it wears off throughout the day. Hydrating, not sticky, and super affordable too! Will re-purchase again and again.
