I am 100% a paper planner person. If it doesn’t go in the planner, it gets forgotten! Last year I switched to the Erin Condren Life Planner and haven’t looked back. I recently got my 2022 Erin Condren Life Planner and thought I’d do an in depth review in case you’re also shopping for a planner. As a blogger, I’m constantly keeping track of about 8 million little things, so a place to keep it all organized is absolutely essential. I can also see this planner being amazing for busy moms, students, and small business owners.

My Erin Condren 2022 Planner
I went with the Leopard Life Planner this time and did custom colors with gold coil. My exact colors are: “Rosewood” for the pattern, “Ivory” for accent, and “Linen” for background. I always choose the horizontal layout for the weekly pages – I find it best for writing out my to-do list! It’s also available with a vertical layout and an hourly option. There are 4 interior design option – I went with “Just My Type Neutral” because I like doing my own different color palettes for each month!
I love this page for monthly goal setting! I write down my goals, blog posts for the month, to-dos, and add stickers for habit tracking. The opposite page is a lined notes page, which I use for content ideas and bucket lists.
These weekly pages are where the magic happens. I love having my planner open and being able to see a whole week at a glance. The opposite page is the same layout even though there are only 3 other days – the bottom box is blank and is where I put my weekly to-do list!
Throughout the planner there are motivational quotes with beautiful typography – just one of the many details that makes this planner a joy to use.
Why I Chose Erin Condren Over Other Planners
Erin Condren planners are definitely on the pricey side, but for something I use every single day, I really want the best quality. I’ve looked at other planners, and almost got a Happy Planner for 2022 instead, but I ultimately keep going back to Erin Condren!
Pros:
The paper quality. Honestly, I’m a bit of a paper snob but this is one of the main reasons I went with the EC planner.
So many options for customization!
Well-designed layouts – the horizontal has everything I need and nothing I don’t
Comes with stickers
Lots of lined pages for notes/lists/etc.
Great monthly pages for goal setting & projects
Very sturdy with a thick coil
Comes with a snap in bookmark/ruler
Cons:
Expensive
Hard to find stickers that fit exactly (I personally still use the Happy Planner stickers even though they aren’t a perfect fit – doesn’t bug me!)
Can’t add in pages like you can with the Happy Planner

There are also some very cute EC sticker books! I love the Monthly book with a different theme for each month, and the Flora stickers are so pretty and functional!
