I am SO excited to share this post with you all! Our DIY wedding invitations arrived and I’m so happy with how they turned out! The wedding is small, with just close family members, but I still thought it would be nice to send out paper invitations. Since I’m also a graphic designer and want to keep things budget friendly, I knew I wanted to DIY my wedding invitations. We’re getting married in September (which is also my favorite month), so I wanted to go with a boho early fall aesthetic for the wedding. I designed these in Canva, and I loved the huge selection of floral elements and pretty fonts.
I had never gotten anything printed from Canva before, but it was actually so easy! We chose the paper, the amount, and got envelopes included which was so convenient. The invitations turned out beautifully and arrived in just a few days packed in this cute little box. This isn’t a sponsored post – I just love Canva that much! Plus, we only payed only $10 to get our invites printed!! We only needed a few of them, so obviously larger orders would be more expensive, but this is still a great affordable option.
Free Canva Templates for Wedding Invitations
I thought I’d make my design available as a template, in case you’re looking to DIY your own wedding invitations! I also made a few alternate versions for different wedding aesthetics. These designs do use Canva Pro elements, but if you don’t have Pro you can always sign up for a free trial when you’re ready to do your invitations. You can also purchase each element individually.
